Map Tools Help

Use the tools across the top of the map display to view distribution information on individual species in the context of aerial photos, 1:24,000 scale topographic maps, land stewardship information, county boundaries, public land survey boundaries, and information on highways, lakes, and streams.

Turn background and foreground map layers on/off by clicking on the boxes or circle buttons. The map will immediately start to redraw.

You can only have one back ground layer turned on at a time.  The background layers are at the bottom of the list and include: Air Photos, Topographic Maps (a hillshade may be turned on/off), the state Highway Map, and you can select to have no base map turned on (the default option when the TRACKER starts up).
